At Oxford Duplication Centre we have a digitising department located in-house equipped with Betacam SP and U-Matic decks.
We can confidentally digitise your old broadcast tapes into suitable file formats to include Pro-Res, Quicktime, MPEG4 or H.264.
Our studio is supported by Window Workstations using Blackmagic devices and dedicated cloud servers to convert your broadcast tapes into high quality digital files. Our servers are industry standard that are used by BBC. So you can guarantee the quality.
The benefits of converting your broadcast tapes include archival and space, editable on any timeline, cloud storage, creation of DVDs if requested and files can be easily placed onto Flash Drive or other external media.
Transfer your Professional NTSC and PAL tape formats - DVCAM, MiniDV, HDV, Betacam (SP, SX and DigiBeta), Sony IMX, HDCAM, DVCPRO (25/50/100) tapes - U-Matic 3/4", and Sony open reel 1/2" and 1" video tapes. OUR SERVICES IN BROADCAST CONVERSION
Broadcast tapes typically have superior video and sound quality to that of a consumer tape. There are a variety of broadcast tapes we can transfer to digital file.
We can capture content from Professional Broadcast video tapes and convert it to new digital formats such as ProRes 422, H.264 MOV, H.264 MP4, DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
